A Native American Romance Novelist
Acres of Bitterness is the culmination of eight years of hard work — from the early idea stages to when it was finally published. Sparked by literature on the Nez Perce Indian War, Debra combined her love of learning with her passion for Native American history to create an intriguing, Native American romance novel to be enjoyed by all.
Based around the Bitterroot Mountains in Idaho and Montana, the author takes you on a journey of love, lust, and loss. Inspired by real events, Debra intertwines history and fiction in a realistic tale of a woman trying to uncover her unknown past.
Debra is currently in the process of writing her second Native American based romance novel. She continues to research the Nez Perce Native Americans and hopes to bring a new spin on historical fiction novels.
